Is there anything better than a good hockey fight? Almost certainly not, and the latest display of brutality on the ice was pretty darn epic.

Footage shared on social media shows Montreal Canadien’s forward Brendan Gallagher as he went flying into the net belonging to rivals, the Vancouver Canucks, and slammed into goaltender Thatcher Demko. In an instant, Gallagher and Demko AND the Canuck’s defenseman Oliver Ekman-Lasson were all beating the living hell out of each other.

Through all this, the ref (bless his heart) just kind of stood there and let it play out — and wouldn’t you?

The latest fight took place at the Bell Center, with HockeyFeed reporting that Gallagher may have gotten himself into quite a pickle. From what I could see, he got his ass handed to him but came up and out of it being able to say he didn’t back down, not even for an instant.

At one point, Gallagher appeared to be done dealing with Ekman-Larsson and literally just turned around to keep punching Demko. Of course, Ekman-Larsson wasn’t going to let Gallagher do that, so that’s when they all ended up on their butts. Now that Gallagher is back from his injuries, his teammates are thrilled that way more fighting will be happening on the ice, at least that’s, according to OiCanadian.
