A gunman robbed 11 Temple University students in their off-campus apartment in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on Friday.

Police were called around 7:00 a.m. after two masked men entered an apartment on the 1300 block of North 15th Street near Master Street and robbed several college students, Action News reported. At least one of the suspects was armed. Present were six women who lived there, three of their boyfriends, and two other female friends, according to the outlet.

“I think the sad part is, we all talked in the room, we all realized once they came into the room, everyone was kind of like ‘oh, it’s our time now,” one of the students told the outlet. One roommate had apparently let the masked men into the apartment thinking they knew someone inside after they had knocked loudly at the door, according to Action News. The alleged suspects targeted the apartment after reportedly being told there would be drugs and cash for them to steal, the outlet noted

Before police arrived, the men broke into the apartment and brought them to the basement, CNN reported. One of the students was found tied up, Philadelphia police told the outlet. None of the students were harmed, Temple University spokeswoman Deirdre Childress Hopkins said.

The duo allegedly snagged a 2015 Lincoln MKZ sedan with a Pennsylvania license KMF1560, according to the outlet.
