Jennifer Siebel Newsom, wife of Democratic California Gov. Gavin Newsom, gave a deeply emotional testimony Monday at the trial of former Hollywood mogul Harvey Weinstein, according to the New York Post.
Siebel Newsom’s testimony focused on how Weinstein allegedly raped her at Beverly Hills’ Peninsular Hotel in 2005, according to the outlet. She was the fourth woman to take the stand against Weinstein, and reportedly started crying as soon as she was asked to identify him from the witness stand.
Siebel Newsom, 48, allegedly told the court she met Weinstein at a hotel suite to discuss a film project. She was under the impression the mogul “could make or ruin your career” in entertainment, the NY Post reported.

“I’m standing. I’m resisting,” Siebel Newsom said, according to the outlet. “Horror. I’m trembling. This is my worst nightmare. I’m just this blow-up doll that he’s just trying to masturbate off of,” she continued of her alleged assault. Weinstein is currently serving a 23-year sentence in New York for sexual assault and rape, and is now facing similar charges from events that allegedly occurred in Los Angeles between 2004 and 2013, the NY Post reported.
Deputy District Attorney Marlene Martinez then asked Siebel Newsom to describe Weinstein’s body. “Lots of bruises, markings, yellow and green, lots of stretch marks on his belly, very not physically fit at all. Looked uncircumcised and strange though, kind of fish-like, the penis, something was distorted in the testicles … Lots of skin, lots of skin down there,” she responded, according to the NY Post.
Weinstein allegedly could not get an erection when he first started assaulting Siebel Newsom, so he penetrated her with his fingers and his “deformed” penis, the NY Post continued. “And then he puts part of his penis inside of me because he pushes me back against the bed,” she said. “It’s not staying in because his penis is so weird and messed up. He realizes this. I was just worried I was going to get some disease. It was so gross,” she told the court, according to the outlet.

Weinstein’s attorney Mark Werksman described Siebel Newsom as “the wife of Gov. Newsom. She’s the first partner of California … She’s made herself a prominent victim in the MeToo movement … otherwise she’d be just another bimbo who slept with Harvey Weinstein to get ahead in Hollywood,” the NY Post reported.
Siebel Newsom is expected to continue her testimony Tuesday.
