Deshaun Watson returned to practice with the Cleveland Browns amid an 11-game NFL suspension in place since August, AP News reported Wednesday.
The three-time Pro Bowl quarterback threw passes towards wide receivers in a segment of the practice session open to journalists, according to the outlet. It was Watson’s first time back at practice since Aug. 30.
Watson received the 11-game suspension along with a $5 million fine Aug. 18 after at least 24 women came forward with allegations of sexual assault against him. He was also reportedly made to attend counseling. Watson will not face any charges over the sexual assault allegations, the AP reported, citing the rulings of two grand juries.
Attorney Tony Buzbee announced June 21 that Watson, who has maintained his innocence, settled 20 out of the 24 sexual misconduct lawsuits. A plaintiff operating under the name Jane Doe sued Watson in an additional sexual misconduct lawsuit Oct. 13.

Watson, who originally played college football at Clemson University, joined the Texans as a quarterback in 2017. Watson agreed to a $160 million contract extension deal with team before being traded to the Cleveland Browns in March, where he eventually signed a $230 million contract.
