Fox Business’ Charles Payne invoked The Stylistics to poke fun at Silicon Valley “big men.”

Payne closed out Wednesday’s episode of “The Takeaway” by playing The Stylistics’ “People Make The World Go Round” and invoking the lyrics to assert Silicon Valley “big men” are destroying the economy without a care.

“They’re not really big men out there, right, in fact many of them are smaller in stature, because they run, they’re into fitness, they don’t smoke fat cigars, although some say they smoke a spliff here or there,” Payne said.

“They’re vegans, they’re tree-huggers, they’re socially conscious. I mean, FTX had a high ESG score … They’re all gonna leave their money to the planet when they pass away, but while they’re on Earth, they’re creating financial havoc.”

“And they’re stoking all the animosity out there, they’re making people more frustrated than they’ve ever been,” Payne continued. (RELATED: Fox’s Charles Payne Comes Absolutely Unglued About FTX Billionaire’s Connections To Democrats)

Payne’s comments come days after prolific Democratic donor and ex-CEO of the now-bankrupt cryptocurrency exchange FTX came under investigation. The Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) and the Securities and Exchange Commission began investigating Sam Bankman-Fried’s FTX after Bankman-Fried allegedly moved $10 billion in client assets from his crypto exchange to his trading firm. A liquidity crisis at his exchange prompted the company to file for bankruptcy.

Prior to the probe, Bankman-Fried courted the CFTC and funded several Democratic campaigns.
