Former child star and short-term panelist of “The View,” Raven-Symone, said in mid-November that her experience on the reality chat show was far from perfect.

Raven-Symone’s comments regarding her time on the iconic panel chat show “The View,” came to light during an interview with Them, where she reflected on her life-long career in the entertainment industry. She had nothing but good things to say about fellow panelist Whoopi Goldberg, noting that the “Sister Act” star has the “best shoe collection and best house.”

Goldberg is the reason that Raven-Symone signed on to be a part of the show back in the 2015-16 season. But if given the chance to go back, there’s no way show would return to the panel.

When it came to the rest of the show, Raven-Symone said she learned “massive lessons that it is a skill to be on live television and voice your opinions.” She told Them that she had to “apologize multiple times for the things that came out of my mouth.”

The interviewer at Them then asked if Raven-Symone would have felt comfortable doing a politically oriented show had she not come out as a lesbian shortly prior. “First of all, they told me this wasn’t going to be politically oriented when they revamped it so, catfished, what?” Raven-Symone replied. “Two: me coming out wasn’t a part of that.” (RELATED: Joy Behar Takes A Big Spill Walking On Stage For ‘The View’)

“The View” has become an inherently political panel show in recent years, with staple host Joy Behar providing viewers with almost daily commentary on her far-left views and public Twitter meltdowns against political figures. Raven-Symone is far from the first former panelist to say she’d never go back to the set. In recent months, Meghan McCain shared some of the horrendous behavior she claims she was victim to while on the show.
