Police arrested the 40-year-old suspect after they were called to a domestic abuse complaint at his home, Clevland19 had previously reported. Following law enforcement’s arrival, the suspect’s 31-year-old wife was rushed to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. A family member later went to the home to retrieve some weapons, discovered the body and reported it to police, according to the outlet.
Police were reportedly called on the couple at least once a month, with some reports stating they would assault each other in the middle of the street, neighbors told the outlet.
Investigators are trying to establish a connection between the suspect and the victim, News5 noted.
