Driver Allegedly Runs Down, Kills Man After Argument

A suspected hit-and-run driver faces charges for running down a man Sunday after an argument at a Philadelphia bar.

The driver, Frederick Falcon, 22, and the victim, Jason Corona, 24, reportedly got into a fight at Union Tap before getting tossed out and Falcon running down Jason with his car, according to NBC Philadelphia. (RELATED: REPORT: Man Kills Teenager He Believed Was ‘Republican Extremist’)

Witnesses claimed that Falcon, who was driving a Ford Edge, drove down Comly Road, turned around and sped towards Corona in the parking lot, according to Fox 29 Philadelphia.

Corona was transported to Jefferson-Torresdale Hospital where he eventually succumbed to his injuries at 3 a.m., CBS Philadelphia reported.

Falcon turned himself in around 9 a.m. Tuesday and is facing charges of with third-degree murder, involuntary manslaughter, homicide by vehicle and related offenses, according to NBC Philadelphia.

“I just heard a whole bunch of yelling and screaming and loudness towards the bar and Steve’s Steaks that is over there,” explained Richard Witten, who works nearby, according to.  “That’s basically what I heard. It was just all kinds of commotion going on. It was pandemonium.”
