Former NFL star Terrell Owens punched a heckler outside a CVS in Inglewood, California, Saturday around 11:30 p.m.
Owens was having a friendly conversation with a 49ers fan who approached him inside the CVS, Owens told TMZ. A second man started verbally harassing the 49ers fan that Owens was talking with. Witnesses said the heckler threatened to beat up the men outside, TMZ reported. (RELATED: Video Captures Police Getting Involved In Racially Charged Dispute Between Former NFL Star And Woman)

As the group of three men walked outside, Owens tried keeping the peace. The heckler then took a swing at the 48-year-old Hall of Famer, a witness told TMZ. Owens sent the heckler to the sidewalk by hitting him in the chin and the man stood up less able to fight.
Owens walked to his Tesla and drove away and police were not called to the scene, according to TMZ.
In January, Fox Sports pundit Skip Bayless said Owens, at the age of 48, could be a contributor for Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers right now.
“TO is in the best shape of any 48-year-old in the world. If Tom Brady bought in, TO could step in right now and produce at some level. I believe he’d be an addition to this team,” Bayless said.
Perhaps Bayless was correct.
