The Boston Police Department announced Tuesday that the remains found Nov. 17 inside a South Boston apartment are of four infant children.

While investigating a building at 838 East Broadway on Nov. 17 at 2:15 p.m., police found a human fetus or infant’s remains, according to a Boston Police Department press release. The next day, detectives found more remains, which personnel from the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner removed. (RELATED: REPORT: Unsuspecting Woman Buys Human Fetus In Storage Unit Auction)

Earlier this month, an 11-month-old and 3-year-old boy were found in the Bronx in a bathtub covered in clothes with water overflowing on the floor, police said. The mother, obsessed with killing them, is obsessed with demons, New York Daily News reported.

“They were beautiful children and they did not deserve to die. It’s simple as that,” Beverly Hill, the paternal grandmother of 11-month-old victim Octavius Canada told the Daily News. “They were beautiful and they had no reason to die.”
