NFL star Micah Parsons said Thursday he still wouldn’t vote for President Joe Biden after WNBA Star Brittney Griner was freed from Russia in a prisoner swap.

Griner was released Thursday in an exchange for notorious arms dealer Viktor Bout, known as the “Merchant of Death,” following months of hostility. Griner was apprehended in Moscow months ago and sentenced to nine years in a Russian penal colony. Former Marine Paul Whelan, who has been detained in Russia since 2021, was not included in the exchange, though the Biden administration suggested it sought to free him as well.

“Wait nah!! We left a marine? Hell nah,” Parsons tweeted. (RELATED: ‘Quiet Diplomacy’: Russia Rips US For Making Griner Prisoner Swap Public Ahead Of Midterms)

Parsons then, in a since deleted tweet, quoted a tweet from Biden that said Griner was safe and said “we still not voting for you!”

Parsons then clarified that his “last tweet was no shot at Brittney Griner.”

“I’m super happy she’s back home as she should. I just have family who have served and it’s crazy to me the President wouldn’t bring him home too. I’m the furthest thing from a trump supporter but I’m not a fan of Biden either.”
