This is one of the reasons why I love soccer so much: sexy deals.

Known simply as Endrick to soccer fans — his full name is Endrick Felipe Moreira de Sousa — the 16-year-old is a pretty big deal in Brazil. He currently plays for Palmeira in the South American nation, which is the top club in the continent at the moment, and he’s already tallied up three goals in just seven matches.

Some of the biggest clubs in Europe have already inquired into the Brazilian star, including sexy brands such as Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain, but it looks like the teenager is now set to sign with another gorgeous brand: Real Madrid. But Endrick can’t even play with the club until he turns 18, meaning 2024 is the earliest year he can officially join the team.

I know I keep pushing soccer on Americans and providing reasons to like it, and I’m going to continue to do so. Here’s why: I want us to dominate the landscape of international soccer. I want the U.S. to win a World Cup, to get the gold medal in the Olympics… I want us to dominate this beautiful game like we dominate everything else in sports, culture and politics.

It’s simple: if we all get interested, we dominate the game instantly, and are all of a sudden the kings in a sport that is the most popular in the world, a sport the entire planet loses their absolute minds over. I want to dominate that.

Just imagine the glory.

So, I bring you another reason to love the game: a 16-year-old set to sign a €72 million contract (about $76 million) with sexy Real Madrid. (RELATED: Cristiano Ronaldo’s Girlfriend And Sister Go After Portugal Manager After He Benched Him In The World Cup)

And this is just one example of sexy deals that happen throughout this sport. Let’s bring up the sexiest of them all, and it happened just recently: Cristiano Ronaldo signing a €211 million per year contract with Saudi Arabian club Al Nassr.

I’m going to keep pushing this on you guys. I know you’ll eventually come around.

And when you do, we’ll dominate the global landscape of this beautiful game we call soccer.
