Piers Morgan called former President Donald Trump’s former spokesperson, Taylor Budowich, a “naughty boy” Thursday after the latter attacked Morgan’s show ratings on Twitter.

Budowich re-posted a Left Foot Forward article which reported that Morgan’s ratings on “Piers Morgan Uncensored” skyrocketed during Morgan’s absence from the program. The show’s ratings leapt to 26,000 during his vacation, up from an average of 14,000 to 19,000 viewers on a normal basis, according to the article.

“Uh oh. Seems like there’s going to be some more unplanned ‘vacations’ in [Piers Morgan’s] future. ‘While Morgan averages 14,000 – 19,000 viewers for his show, in his absence… viewing figures were boosted to 26,000 – a significant leap,'” Budowich tweeted, including a quote and a link to the Left Foot Forward article.

“Taylor! Great to hear from you! This is another of your Big Lies, you naughty boy. In fact, my ratings have been great and my recent Ronaldo shows beat my launch shows with your boss Donald.. as sadly his ratings (thanks to your expert guidance) are tanking into oblivion. Sad!” Morgan replied. (RELATED: Piers Morgan Says Meghan Markle Being At Queen’s Funeral Is ‘Hard To Stomach’)

Tory Member of Parliament (MP) Nadine Dorries substituted for Morgan during his absence, according to Left Foot Forward. The program reportedly witnessed a drop in ratings after Morgan interviewed former President Donald Trump in April, with the premiere averaging 317,000 viewers and part two dropping to 200,000 viewers.

“Piers Morgan Uncensored” garnered around 24,000 views one night in May before dipping to around 10,000, the outlet reported.
