Rumer Willis, daughter of Bruce Willis and Demi Moore, announced Tuesday that she is pregnant with her first child.
Willis shared the update via her Instagram page, where she posted a series of photographs revealing her baby bump. Joining her in the photographs was boyfriend Derek Richard Thomas.
Willis is the eldest daughter of Moore and her ex-husband Bruce. She had said in 2020 that she hoped to make her father a grandfather, according to USA Today. “Over the quarantine, he was like, ‘So I’d like for you to have a son because I need some male energy in this group, ‘” Willis said of her father back in 2020. “It’s a lot of women, obviously. He has five daughters and my mom and my stepmom. There’s just a lot of female energy. Even then, I’m like, ‘OK, I want to make sure who I do that with.'”

Bruce stepped away from acting in March after being diagnosed with aphasia. Symptoms of the disorder include loss of the ability to speak, write, and understand written and spoken language. It is typically associated with stroke or injury, but can also be a degenerative disorder.
