This reporter is something else, man.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers lost a 34-23 contest against the Cincinnati Bengals after several turnovers, including a botched fake punt that was mishandled by running back Giovani Bernard. After the game, an awkward exchange took place between him and the media — particularly ESPN reporter Jenna Laine.

Well, Buccaneers cornerback Carlton Davis was speaking with the press during an interview session three days later on Dec. 21, and Laine happened to be one of the reporters in the room.

With questions going around, Laine eventually threw one out asking about Bernard and the botched play, and Davis responded by completely ignoring the question. Instead, he addressed Laine’s actions towards Bernard for being inappropriate.

After catching heat for days, Laine ended up apologizing about the matter:

I was annoyed with her obnoxiously yelling “well, you were injured all year” to Gio in the original video, and her apology really didn’t change my perspective on that.

Shout out to Carlton Davis for flat out ignoring her and just addressing the situation like a G. (RELATED: Hot Mic: Tight End Mike Gesicki Takes Dig At Miami Dolphins For Not Using Him Enough)

Nothing but class from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in this entire ordeal.

And Jenna, you are so right when you say Gio is a better person than you.

You go, girlfriend!
