Deputy Chair of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev made some “absurd” but also “humble” predictions for the world in 2023 in a lengthy Twitter thread on Monday. Billionaire Twitter owner Elon Musk felt the thread was “epic,” so here’s what it had to say.

Medvedev said the thread was “our humble contribution” to those making the wildest, most absurd New Years predictions. It started with “oil price will rise to $150 a barrel, and gas price will top $5.000 per 1.000 cubic meters.”

It’s unclear who else Medvedev is speaking for in the thread, but the predictions are far from humble. Further forecasts included Great Britain rejoining the European Union, which will collapse after its return and end the Euro.

From here, Poland and Hungary will occupy the western regions of what was once Ukraine, and a “Fourth Reich” will be created across Germany, Poland, the Baltics, Czechia, Slovakia and other satellite territories. Apparently this “Fourth Reich” will go to war with France, and Europe will become fully divided.

Over here in the U.S., Medvedev thinks we’re headed for civil war. California and Texas will become independent states, with the latter forming an alliance with Mexico (okay, this does sound a bit ridiculous, but crazier things have happened in history). Musk will win the presidential election after the end of the civil war.

“All the largest stock markets and financial activity will leave the US and Europe and move to Asia,” Medvedev wrote in his final tweets. “The Bretton Woods system of monetary management will collapse, leading to the IMF and World Bank crash. Euro and Dollar will stop circulating as the global reserve currencies. Digital fiat currencies will be actively used instead.”

Medvedev concluded his thread by wishing “season greetings to all, Anglo-Saxon friends, and their happily oinking piglets.” (RELATED: ‘I Brought Some Cyanide’: Another Billionaire Investor Predicts Devastating Economic Collapse)

While Musk might find the thread epic and absurd, I think Medvedev just released Russia’s plan for 2023. Some folks will assume it to be a joke, but if we’ve learned anything in the last two years, it’s that we have no idea what is happening in this world thanks to the elites we allow to govern us.

Russia’s leadership already sees our country as a joke, thanks to the far-leftist woke nonsense destroying us from the inside out, so why couldn’t Medvedev’s predictions come to fruition? It’s not like we’re really doing anything to stop it. We’re all too busy hating each other to pay attention to our common enemies.
