GAMA SOSA: The Speaker Candidate Who Brings Both Parties Together Is Obvious

With Kevin McCarthy unable to get the necessary votes for speaker, Congress has a few options on how to proceed. One is to let the Democrats have Hakeem Jeffries, earning themselves some woke points for electing the first black speaker. Republicans could try getting Dems on board with McCarthy, but then McCarthy would be their b***h. The third option is to bring in a third party from the outside.

Donald Trump is the best bet. Actually, scratch that. It will never happen. 90% of Congress hates him or doesn’t want to be associated with him. But what about Volodymyr Zelenskyy? The guy certainly has the support of both Republicans and Democrats – or The Uniparty, as I’ve been calling it for seven years now.

Zelenskyy really would be perfect. At worst, nothing would change, and at best, you’d get the status quo on steroids. Like Congress, he resembles a bad girlfriend that’s good for two things: screwing you over and asking for money.

Now, where the money and weapons we send go, nobody knows. Even CNN admitted it. But that’s just like here in the U.S.! It kind of reminds me of the time Bill DeBlasio’s wife “lost” $850 million (How the hell do you “lose” $850 million?). Or the time American weapons ended up in Mexico and it turned out the feds and Barack Obama were behind it. Or Obama and Joe Biden giving ISIS and the Taliban all our stuff. Or the time the Pentagon “lost track” of “hundreds of millions” – and that’s probably what they’re willing to admit to. When I tried to search the latest omnibus bill for various earmarks, my browser kept crashing because it couldn’t handle the 4,000+ pages (seriously).

It’s no surprise that The Uniparty loves Zelenskyy. Birds of a feather flock together. And given how much applause Zelenskyy received from Congress in December, we can all agree that he has a lot of support from both parties. He’s so confident, he shows up to take our money in sweats rather than in a suit.

And the icing on the cake? The White House requested $37 billion in aid for Zelenskyy and Congress gave him $45 billion instead! He didn’t even have to ask! He’s the greatest negotiator of all time. Who else can get more money without even asking? Say goodbye to congressional debates, because this guy already knows what we need.

Everyone keeps talking about how they want normality and the “good old days” to come back to Washington and America in general. Really, if you think about it, they never left. They just became even more “good.” That is, of course, if by the “good old days” you mean endless wars, spending, unnecessary foreign aid, an exploding national debt and the boot of the security state stomping on your face forever. Then life’s never been better – even compared to the Bush and Obama years.

So what will Zelenskyy do? He will start motions for war with Russia, getting along great with the likes of Lindsay Graham, Jamie Raskin and the war caucus. He wants to turn Ukraine into a multicultural democracy, which is wokespeak for flooding your country with foreigners — legal or illegal. Chuck Schumer, with his amnesty plan, and the various ethno-racial caucuses on both sides of the aisle demanding race-based concessions and amnesty will love this guy. Throw in gay marriage, and you have the establishment GOP on board.

Finally, Zelenskyy will spend, spend, spend and then spend some more. And I’m sure some of that will be kicked back to Congress. After all, what politician doesn’t like a good grift? It will be just like under Bush, Obama and Biden, but on steroids.

Sure, Lauren Boebert and co. might be mad. She didn’t even clap for Zelenskyy. Maybe he should have followed JEB’s lead and asked her. But who cares what a 5ft-tall, gun-toting lady who’s actually fighting for us thinks? It’s 2022. People work for politicians and the IRS, not the other way around. Her attitude is so 18th century. Get with the times, Lauren.

Anyway, if you want the “good old days” to make a comeback in true style, let’s get Volodymyr Zelenskyy into the speaker’s chair. Never mind that he’s not a U.S. citizen. The Uniparty doesn’t seem to care about that pesky requirement, anyway.
