New footage released Thursday reveals the chaos inside the Brooklyn subway car where a man shot 10 passengers in April.

Gunman Frank James — who once posted a meme imploring “black Jesus” to “kill all the whiteys” — pleaded guilty Tuesday to shooting ten people on a Brooklyn subway car. More than a dozen others suffered injuries in the attack, some after inhaling smoke from the smoke bombs James threw as he fired, CBS News noted. There were no fatalities.

New footage released by NBC New York shows the horrifying moments inside of the subway car as passengers fought to survive the attack.

WARNING: The video is graphic.

The video shows blood spattered across the ground as loud bangs go off. Someone asks, “Were those gunshots?” A passenger begs, “Please, someone help me get off!” to which another responds, “I’ll help you.”

The video also shows passengers rallying together to help each other throughout the attack. Later in the video, first responders arrive to support the injured and clear the scene. James escaped but was arrested the following day after calling a tipline on himself, according to ABC News. (RELATED: Gunman Flees Cops After Shooting and Injuring Multiple People In NYC)

In another clip from NBC, James can be seen in custody answering FBI agents’ questions, wetting himself and telling law enforcement that all he does is drink and make YouTube videos. His YouTube channel was found shortly after the attack, and contains hours of hyper-racial black nationalist rants.
