A woman in Idaho Falls is looking for a man who rescued her after a freak accident with her car caused her to become pinned between the vehicle and a payment station, East Idaho News reported.

Maricruz Salazar was standing close to a metal payment booth at a local car wash Monday when her truck started moving toward her with her 11-year-old, 4-year-old and 2-year-old children inside, according to East Idaho News.

“I yelled to my daughter to jump in the driver’s seat and put it in park. But when she parked it, the door slammed my arm into the metal box where you pay,” Salazar told the outlet. “There was so much pressure, I thought I was going to lose my arm.”

Her 11-year-old daughter, Natalie, could not free Salazar’s arm from the trap as the pressure mounted, according to the outlet. Even moving it slightly only made the pressure worse, Salazar noted.

Natalie reportedly spotted a man driving a red Dodge Ram and called to him, saying her mother required immediate help. “He came around and he said ‘What’s going on?’ and I said, ‘Can you jump on the other side and try to move my truck?'” Salazar told East Idaho News. “I was screaming so bad. We didn’t even have the time to call 911, it just happened.”

The man got into the truck and moved it enough to release Salazar’s arm, according to the outlet. She had been stuck in the position for six or seven minutes, and immediately fainted when her arm was released. She said she remembers the man picking her up and setting her upright as he comforted her daughter, who was screaming at her mother to wake up, East Idaho News reported.

The man allegedly called the police before he left. Salazar was unable to get any information from him, and is reportedly eager to contact him. (RELATED: REPORT: Police Say Actress Anne Heche Was Under Influence Of Cocaine At Time Of Fiery Car Crash)

A similar incident killed young actor Anton Yelchin almost instantly in 2016. The “Star Trek” actor reportedly died just a minute after his car pinned his chest and head between a metal security gate and mailbox. The manufacturer recalled the vehicle after serious safety concerns for a transmission defect.
