There are no official accounts that the couple was married, but reports from those who know the couple confirmed they were married, Guidry noted. The pair resided in a small home on a plot of land behind their relative’s homes.
The suspect appeared to have cut off the victim’s head and left her headless body inside of the home, KHOU11 continued. The identities of those involved have not been released by the sheriff’s office at this time. (RELATED: REPORT: Coroner Says He Cried, Couldn’t Eat For A Week In Most Heinous Crime He’s Ever Seen)
The crime was called “what appears to be a horrific case of domestic violence,” by a KHOU11 news reporter. Deputies remained at the scene until the early hours of Thursday morning.
