Rising Star Model Dead At 27

Model Jeremy Ruehlemann died at the age of 27, friends and colleagues announced Sunday.

Ruehlemann has walked for various designers, including John Varvatos, Perry Ellis, Superdry and Christian Siriano. He also appeared in major print publications, like GQ and Playhouse Magazine, according to the New York Post. A number of major industry professionals shared heartfelt posts about the late model.

One of his fellow models, Lexi Wood, said she had seen Ruehlemann as recently as Thursday.

“[I]f you have ever known me you know how much I love Jeremy,” she wrote in the caption of her Instagram post. “I can’t even articulate the magic that he was. I met Jeremy when I was 15, the day I met him I knew my heart would be full forever, he’s my soulmate, my best friend, my support, my family, my light, my love, my twin flame … I could go on and on because he was so special.”

No official cause of death has been confirmed for the late model as of early Tuesday morning. (RELATED: REPORT: Former ‘American Idol’ Contestant Dead At 31)

Tributes also poured out from Halston’s creator director, Ken Downing, as well as Christian Siriano. The late model was represented by Soul Artist Management and was sharing posts as recently as Jan. 21.
