Paris Hilton confirmed Tuesday that she and her husband, Carter Reum, have welcomed their first child together via surrogate.

Hilton, 41, shared the news on her Instagram account, posting a photograph of herself holding one of her newborn son’s delicate hands. “You are already loved beyond words,” she captioned the post.

She later confirmed the news to People. “It’s always been my dream to be a mother and I’m so happy that Carter and I found each other. We are so excited to start our family together and our hearts are exploding with love for our baby boy,” she told the outlet.

Hilton did not provide her son’s name, nor his official date of birth.

Hilton married Reum in November 2021, and she has been open about her plans to use IVF to start a family, People reported. She also noted in her “This Is Paris” documentary in 2020 that she had frozen her eggs, confirming the same information to TMZ years later. “[We’ve] been talking about kids since the beginning, since the first couple, like, months of dating,” Hilton said on “The Bellas Podcast” in April 2022. Apparently the couple’s plan was always to start their family in 2023 so they could enjoy at least a year of marriage before bringing new little teammates into the picture, Page Six reported.

Congratulations to the happy family! We cannot wait to see the little guy’s wardrobe!
