Madonna took to Twitter on Monday to set the record straight about her face.
The iconic singer used her social media platform to broadcast a message about her face after being the butt of several jokes. Fans have roasted Madonna over her dramatically adjusted facial features, which she now explained are a result of surgery. “Look how cute i am now that swelling from surgery has gone down. Lol 😂” she wrote. The star’s caption appeared adjacent to a photograph of her thinned out face.

The differences between the celebrity’s Monday posts and previous posts are major. Her face initially appeared to be larger and more swollen than usual, and fans told the star without hesitation that her look “wasn’t it.”
Madonna had not given any explanation for the differences in her appearance between posts. A few days prior to the update on her surgical procedure, the star roasted her haters for being ageist and misogynistic and told fans to stay in their lane. Fans remain divided after Madonna’s admission of going under the knife.
“Here you had us all worried that somebody was busy using your body somewhere else without your knowledge,” one fan said.
“Damn everyone replying to you is such a hater. You look normal in both man,” wrote a user by the name of Andrew.
