The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has been flooded with complaints about Rihanna’s Super Bowl halftime show, with viewers stating it was overly sexualized.

Offended viewers shared their criticism of Rihanna’s lyrics, gestures, and overall content, and several viewers stated her Super Bowl show was comparable to porn, according to TMZ. There have been over 103 complaints filed to the U.S. government agency that regulates the content that is broadcasted on television.

“She spread her ass cheek at the crack,” a viewer from Florida complained, according to TMZ. “She rubbed her pants where her labia were three times.”

Critics of the performance aired their concerns to the FCC and heavily criticized Rihanna’s judgment when it came to the overall choreography of her performance. Many viewers stated they were offended by the famous singer’s display of sexual dance moves and motions.

This year the halftime show was so indecent I had to turn off the TV because of the pornographic content,” a viewer from Utah said, according to TMZ.

One particular viewer compared Rihanna’s show to another highly criticized televised moment that took place in recent weeks – Sam Smith and Kim Petra’s Grammy’s “Unholy” performance. Many people complained about that particular moment at the Grammy’s and the Californian viewer made sure to note that Rihanna’s show was even more offensive than that Smith and Petra’s content. “I don’t care what someone worships but children shouldn’t be exposed to pornography and as an adult I don’t wish to see it … Where has decency gone? How about respect for others and self?” they said, according to TMZ.

The motions, gestures, and dance moves of Rihanna’s back-up dancers were also highly criticized by viewers who shared their feelings with the FCC by way of formal complaints.

They said the dancers “were patently offensive and completely inappropriate for children,” according to TMZ.

Rihanna has not publicly commented on the widespread criticism.
