Legendary golfer John Daly gave an epic response after a friend joked that Daly would have sex with former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton to get her to pipe down.

A video posted to Instagram showed Daly squaring up on a par 3 tee box with the words “Back off challenge with John Daly” imposed on the screen. The “back off challenge” is a golf social media trend that involves mocking and insulting a player as he lines up his shot, with the goal of making him laugh hard enough that he’s forced to back away from it.

Daly’s back off challenge began when a man off-camera commented on his new haircut.

“Straight from getting his hair cut at the Golden Corral,” the man said.

“They do good work, they do it for free,” Daly said, maintaining his composure.

“You’d fuck Hillary Clinton just to get her to shut up,” the unseen man said, changing tactics. Again, Daly was unperturbed.

Daly is set to face off against online golf influencer Paige Spiranac on June 5 at the Geneva National.

Daly, who is 56, recently underwent full knee replacement surgery.
