I was already excited for baseball to be back — but the pitch clock rule just further elevates that excitement.

If you’re a fan of baseball, I’m sure you will agree that sometimes the game can be painfully slow sometimes. As a result, things get boring, and it becomes hard to watch. Baseball is a beautiful sport, but facts are facts.

Well, the MLB has made several rule changes to make the game more enjoyable, and one way that they’ve been doing that is by speeding up the game with a pitch clock. And holy shit, you talk about successful. I’ve personally watched a few spring training games already, and the pace of the game has definitely picked up. And the entertainment value has skyrocketed as a result.

While looking through stories to blog about, I came across this video that will show you exactly what I’m talking about. On one side, you have Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Landon Knack pitching through a whole inning here in the pitch-clock era, and on the right side, we have an old video of Pedro Baez (who was then pitching for the Dodgers) throwing only a single pitch in the time Knack took to complete a whole half inning.

Just absolutely incredible.

Yeah … I’m definitely all-in on this pitch clock thing.

Baseball is about to be so much more exciting this season, and I’m ready to get started. (RELATED: Joe Rogan And Patrick Mahomes’ Wife Brittany Are Now Publicly Beefing Over A Divorce Joke)
