Security had to intervene when a male fan went completely berserk as rapper Ice Spice hit the stage for her Rolling Loud California set Sunday, video shows.

The fan breaks free from the crowd and manages to get past the barriers in front of the stage while yelling loudly and professing his love for the rapper, according to video obtained by TMZ. He begins screaming and gesturing wildly before lunging toward the stage. Security agents wearing sunglasses and seemingly calculating the man’s every move then physically step in to keep the man from rushing the stage, the video shows.

The fan can be seen jumping up and down wildly and screaming Ice Spice’s name as she walks out to her theme song, “Princess Diana.”

The Bronx native kept the focus on her music, but the overzealous fan continued doing everything in his power to get noticed, according to the clip.

The video shows the fan loudly professing his love for the famous artist while screaming at the top of his lungs. His voice begins to crack, and at one point the camera shows him putting his hand on a security guard’s shoulder in an apparent attempt to gain leverage and launch himself onto the main stage. Two agents were able to push the fan back and he wound up where he started, still on the wrong side of the barrier.

The famous rapper seemed unaffected by the fan’s behavior and continued to perform hit songs “Munch (Feelin’ U),” “In Ha Mood” and “Boy’s a Liar, Pt. 2.” which holds the No. 3 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 at the time of writing.
