Piers Morgan ripped Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, Duchess of Sussex, for not confirming their attendance of King Charles III’s coronation.

King Charles formally invited his youngest son and daughter-in-law to attend his coronation May 6. The couple, who departed the royal family in 2021, have yet to confirm if they are coming.

“I would like an immediate emergency power to hold a restriction that we will not let these two back in because their popularity in the U.K. is unbelievably bad right now. Lower than Prince Andrew, if you thought that was humanly possible,” Morgan said on “Fox & Friends” Monday. “They’re reacting to this invitation, which is very magnanimous by King Charles, because let’s face it, Harry spray gunned his entire family in this kiss-and-tell book. He took down Charles, he took down Charles’ wife, the new Queen Camilla. He took down his brother, William, his sister-in-law, Kate. Everybody got it.”

Morgan accused the prince and the duchess of refusing to be “gracious” to King Charles’ “magnanimous” invitation after Prince Harry published his bombshell book, “Spare,” painting his own family in a negative light. “They’ve reacted exactly how I knew they would react,” he continued. “They haven’t been gracious and said, ‘Wow, that’s really big of you, dad.’ No, they’ve said, ‘Yeah, we have the invitation and we’ll think about out decision.’ Think about that! Our decision, these two little up-stars in their California mansion are gonna make their grand decision about whether to attend the coronation of Britain’s new monarchy.”

He further commended to King Charles for making preparations to evict the couple from Frogmore Cottage and hand it over to his brother, Prince Andrew. He accused Prince Harry and the duchess of possibly wanting to go to the coronation to “line their own pockets.”

“Why should it [Frogmore Cottage] be theirs?” Morgan said. “They’ve got this enormous property … Charles has bankrolled this little rat bag for the last 15 years. Literally bankrolled him! Giving him millions and millions and millions of pounds, and now he has the gall to turn around and say, ‘My father’s awful, the monarchy’s awful, everything about the monarchy is terrible … but we want to be at the coronation, you know why? They want to be at the coronation so they can milk it at the next Netflix documentary, or the next book, whatever it may be to line their own pockets.”
