In ESPN’s defense, the ‘X’ in XFL stands for ‘X-treme’.

Everything was business as usual for the XFL in the Sunday game between the St. Louis BattleHawks and Arlington Renegades. That was until the very end, when ESPN cameras picked up a naked player in the locker room.

At the end of the game, cameras cut to the BattleHawks locker room where it was focused on quarterback A.J. McCarron congratulating his teammates for the victory over Arlington. However, that wasn’t the only thing that cameras caught, with the shot showing another teammate’s, um, bottom.

This is one thing that I’ve noticed about XFL’s television coverage, both in this installment and in the 2.0 edition, and that’s the fact that some of their inside looks can be absolutely fantastic as a football fan. And then there’s other times where you’re like, “okay, I understand why the NFL doesn’t do this.” And now we’re getting to a stage of seeing naked players.

And hey, why not?

We’re in a time where pretty much everybody is a porn star or semi-porn star with the whole OnlyFans craze, so it’s perfect for the way pop culture is. Personally, I could do without seeing naked men, but if the XFL decided to make this a consistent thing, I mean, you can’t get more ‘X-treme’ than that, right? Fans want an inside look, and well, they’re getting exactly that.

I’m just happy that we have football to watch until the NFL gets back, because I’m even more impatient to get to the 2023 Miami Dolphins season now after landing Jalen Ramsey Sunday.

Ahh, man … What a beautiful time to be a football fan for me. My Phins are getting big fish and I’m vibin’ to the XFL.
