  1. Los Angeles meteorologist Alissa Carlson Schwartz suffered a horrifying on-air emergency while reporting live on Saturday.

Schwartz seemed fine at the beginning of her 7 a.m. broadcast, but things changed midway through her conversation with fellow co-anchors Nichelle Medina and Rachel Kim. Schwartz began to look pale, then leaned forward awkwardly while Medina and Kim were speaking. Horrifying video of the medical emergency showed her eyes rolling into the back of her head as she lost control of her body. She tried to steady herself, but her head slumped as she lost consciousness and fell to the floor.

Medina and Kim continued speaking for a few seconds before realizing something was wrong with Schwartz.

“We’re going to take a quick break right now,” they said, when it became apparent that Schwartz needed medical attention.

The show did not return to the live broadcast after they cut away from the frightening scene.

Schwartz was rushed to the hospital where she received medical care, but the details of her condition and injuries were not disclosed.

She resurfaced Sunday to address her fans and thank the public for their texts and loving messages.

“Thanks for all the kind wishes as I recover from a head injury,” Schwartz wrote to her Facebook page.

“I am out of the hospital and doing ok,” she said.

“Lots of sleeping and even some pizza,” Schwartz wrote.(RELATED: CTV Reporter Appears To Suffer Medical Emergency On Air)

“Thankfully it’s not my heart this time,” the news anchor wrote.

Schwartz was previously diagnosed with a leaky heart valve following an on-air fainting spell dating back to  2014, according to TMZ.
