A Florida sheriff confronted a man who is accused of posting death threats towards him.

Volusia County Sheriff Mike Chitwood confronted Richard Golden as he arrived in Florida, according to a tweet by the Volusia Sheriff’s Office.

Golden can be seen riding down the escalators with two men around him in the video posted to Twitter. Chitwood then confronts the man as he walks by him.

“I’m Volusia County Sheriff Mike Chitwood. Anything you uh – I hope you enjoy your stay. Welcome to Florida,” Chitwood said to Golden in the video.

Golden was then escorted to a police car just outside, according to Fox 35.

“He walked right by. I mean how much [more] gutless can you be?” Chitwood said, reported Fox 35.

Police in New Jersey arrested Golden earlier this month for posting a threat towards Chitwood on 4chan, Fox 35 reported. The threat towards Chitwood came immediately after he held a press conference condemning antisemitic messages around the county. “[Extremists] want to threaten to put bullets and people’s heads and don’t think they’re going to be held accountable,” Chitwood said, reported Fox 35. “We’re going to hold you accountable.”
