Lindsie Chrisley, daughter of Todd and Julie Chrisley, appeared on Wednesday’s episode of PodcastOne’s “The Southern Tea” to reveal that her father has made “good friends” in prison.

Todd is currently serving a 12-year sentence for tax evasion and bank fraud. His daughter said he’s progressing well during this time. “My last visit with my dad, I couldn’t stop telling him how great that he looked,” Lindsie told prison consultant Justin Paperny, according to a video clip provided by People. “He looks very very good,” Lindsie said. “He’s made great friends. He talks about his friends there,” she said.

Lindsie went on to describe how well Todd has adjusted to his time behind bars.

“I told him, I said, ‘Even your hair looks better, a little bit longer and a little bit grayer,'” she said.

“His nails aren’t completely bitten off.”

“I know for sure that he is in such a better place,” Lindsay said on the podcast.

She went on to discuss how her father has adjusted to his new lifestyle.

“His spirits are great,” she said.

“He is really just embracing the process there and making the best of the process there with the people that are also there serving time with him,” Lindsie said.

Paperny, who advised Todd and Julie prior to their conviction and sentencing, added his thoughts about what Todd’s experiences could be like in jail, saying Todd would “learn” from his fellow inmates.

“More reform is coming,” Paperny said to Lindsie. (RELATED: REPORT: Reality TV Star Kyle Chrisley Arrested For Aggravated Assault)

Todd is serving his sentence at Florida’s Federal Prison Camp in Pensacola. Julie was sentenced to seven years in a Federal Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky.

Todd and Julie are appealing their convictions, according to People.
