Now this is a pretty cool story.

A decade ago in 2013, a then 18-year-old Jon Rahm ate at a Panda Express, and after his meal, he received a fortune cookie. It read “your talents will be recognized and suitably rewarded,” which led to Rahm posting it to Twitter and making a prediction that aged better than most wine.

“I am gonna win the masters!” captioned Rahm.

10 years later, and Rahm is now a Masters champion and gets to flex in that absolutely beautiful green jacket, marking the first Masters victory of his career and his second majors championship.

Over a four-day span at Augusta National that was full of rain, wind and delays, Rahm ended up with a victorious -12, outlasting Brooks Koepka and Phil Mickelson by four strokes to win the tournament. The victory is the fourth of Rahm’s 2023 campaign. Before this year’s Masters, Rahm’s highest finish in the tournament was fourth place in 2018.

Beginning his professional golf career in 2016, Rahm has tallied up nine victories in the PGA Tour, as well as eight European Tour wins, and he now has two majors titles after his Masters championship. His other majors victory was the U.S. Open in 2021.

Man, you gotta love when things work out like this.

I think a lot of us have had some wishful thinking that we ended up predicting before. That’s exactly what happened here with Jon Rahm. (RELATED: REPORT: The Masters Is Bringing In An Insane $1 Million Every Hour On Merchandise)

It’s just our moments didn’t come along with a flashy green jacket and a $3.24 million payday — it must be nice.
