A pregnant woman in Louisiana was allegedly murdered Sunday by three men after they seemingly mistook her for someone else.

Kerisha Johnson, 36, was reportedly picking up people who went to a party, according to arrest documents reported by a local ABC affiliate. She was also nine months pregnant and believed to be days away from giving birth.

Officers reportedly found Johnson dead inside of her car. (RELATED: Pregnant Woman Shot In Chicago While Allegedly Attempting To Rob Car: Police)

Marques Porch, Gregory Parker and Derrick Curry, who are all 19 years old, were booked into jail April 16 for second-degree murder and first-degree feticide charges, according to the East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office. Porch was also a corrections officer for the West Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office from June to November 2022, then he became a part-time employee in February 2023 as a transportation driver, according to ABC News. He was “immediately terminated” following his arrest.

Porch also admitted to police that he had provided weapons that were used in the shooting and he also had someone get them from his car before the police arrived, a local ABC affiliate reported.

The East Baton Rouge Parish Courthouse confirmed to ABC News that all men were ordered to be held without bond during a court appearance Monday.

“They all stated that they believed the white car was a vehicle from earlier in the night where [an] occupant had fired a round into the air as it drove past the teen party,” the warrant stated, as reported by the New York Post.
