Five Colorado Buffaloes entered the NCAA college football transfer portal Monday, including starting wide receiver Montana Lemonious-Craig and safety Tyrin Taylor, which is another set of developments on top of a mountain that head coach Deion Sanders has been dealing with.

With Lemonious-Craig in particular, he started all 12 games for Colorado, and absolutely shined in their spring game Saturday, putting up a flashy 168 receiving yards and two touchdowns. In three seasons with the team, he’s recorded 497 total yards and five touchdowns off of 34 career receptions.

For Taylor, he’s made nine career starts for the Buffaloes, including seven in the 2022 campaign. Altogether in his career, he’s tallied up 39 career tackles, as well as two pass breakups and one interception.

Jordyn Tyson has also entered the transfer portal Monday. Tyson was the leading receiver for Colorado last season, putting up 470 yards and four touchdowns off of 22 catches.

Also entering the portal Monday was linebacker Shakaun Bowser and offensive lineman Jackson Anderson, with neither seeing significant action with the Buffaloes.

But it’s Lemonious-Craig who stuck out the most after an incredible spring game performance.

Deion Sanders‘ Colorado program has now seen 17 players enter the transfer portal since April 15, and now it’s ratcheted up to players who are outright shining with the program. (RELATED: Wife Arrested After Allegedly Throwing Trophy Football At Husband Because He Got The Wrong Pickles)
