What a beaut!

Two regulars of the cult classic week-long program “Shark Week” on the Discovery Channel recently filmed one of the most beautiful breaches that a great white shark has ever done.

And as a matter of fact, the footage — which was shot in South Africa by Andy Casagrande and Dickie Chivell — also happened to catch the highest breach on record by a great white shark.

If you’re not familiar with the term “breach,” it refers to when a great white shark leaves the ocean while feeding. In this case, the shark was chasing after a high-tech camera that was being dragged behind Casagrande’s and Chivell’s boat.

The incredible shot is for “Shark Week,” which begins July 11. However, this particular clip was gloriously uploaded to YouTube for our viewing pleasure.

Oh man, what a fantastic clip. And who doesn’t love “Shark Week”?

I remember in 2022 how awesome it was for me being a professional wrestling fan because All Elite Wrestling (AEW) — which is broadcasted on the same family of networks as “Shark Week” — had done a partnership promotion in which they were using “Shark Week” themes throughout their programming. It was pretty cool.

And now this video is getting me hyped up for this year’s edition! Man, I love “Shark Week”! (RELATED: Joel Embiid’s Injury Reportedly Way Worse Than Originally Believed. Are The Philadelphia 76ers Doomed?)

It’s funny too. Being from Florida and loving to swim in the ocean as much as I do, you’d think that either would turn me off from “Shark Week” or “Shark Week” would turn me off from swimming. But it hasn’t.

I, of course, don’t want to get bit by one, but I admire the beauty of a great white shark — they’re cool.
