REPORT: ‘M*A*S*H’ Star Eileen Saki Dead At Age 79

‘M*A*S*H’ star Eileen Saki, who played a bar owner named Rosie on the iconic show, reportedly died in Los Angeles on Monday following a battle with cancer.

Family sources confirmed her death, according to TMZ. Rosie appeared in multiple “M*A*S*H” episodes as the owner of Rosie’s Bar, which was a popular local spot for G.I.’s to gather. Two others played that role before she took over the reins, according to TMZ.

Saki was a seasoned actress who appeared in a number of roles, including her part as Dr. Fujimoto in “Splash,” starring Tom Hanks. She also worked alongside Mel Brooks in “History of the World: Part I,” and also in “CHiPs,” according to TMZ.

The famous actress worked in the industry for decades and remained actively involved even in her older years. (RELATED: Gordon Lightfoot Dead At Age 84)

Her most recent appearance was for an Uber Eats advertisement just a few months before her death, according to TMZ. She appeared alongside L.A. Rams defensive tackle Aaron Donald, as he helped her get safely across the street in the commercial.

Saki passed away at the age of 79 and is survived by her husband, Bob Borgen.
