The Biden administration’s Department of State is funding transgender makeup “entrepreneurs” in Nepal via a $2,315 grant, according to records.

The grant’s purpose is to, “provide financial support to conduct English language classes to professional transgender women makeup entrepreneurs.” (RELATED: Biden Admin Advocate For Child Sex Changes Kicks Off Adolescent Health Month With Resources On ‘Sexual’ Health)

The grant, authorized by the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs (ECA), is ongoing. It began on April 16 and will end on May 31. The bureau aims to “increase mutual understanding between the people of the United States and the people of other countries by means of educational and cultural exchange.”

The Biden administration offered $500,000 in a grant to teach the English language in Pakistan. The program promotes, “intensive professional development courses for Pakistani transgender youth from the ages of 13-25,” according to the notice of funding opportunity.

In 2022, the State Department announced, “an open competition for organizations interested in submitting applications for projects that have the goal to provide lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and intersex (LGBTQI+) communities.” The funding for the program was between $750,000 and $1,500,000.

The State Department also announced in March 2022 that citizens could choose “X” as their gender on passport applications.

” This is a major step in delivering on the President’s commitment to expand access to accurate identification documents for transgender and non-binary Americans,” a White House fact sheet read.

The U.S. Department of State did not immediately respond to the Daily Caller’s request for comment.
