The rumor that “Yellowstone” star Kevin Costner impregnated a member of the show’s production team was dismissed by sources, Thursday.
Kevin Costner plays the leading role of John Dutton on the hit cowboy drama “Yellowstone,” co-created by Taylor Sheridan. Production for the second half of the fifth season of the show screeched to a halt in early 2023 just months after rumors started that Costner’s wife, Christine Baumgartner, demanded he leave the show. Baumgartner filed for divorce from Costner on Monday.
Rumors of a dismantled relationship between Costner and Sheridan have also swirled in the wake of all the off-screen drama. None of these rumors have been particularly shut down by cast, crew, or Paramount Network’s team behind the show.

But the rumor that Costner got someone pregnant on set? Well, that was shut down pretty quickly by TMZ on Thursday. Sources close to Costner say the rumor is “total BS,” and only started after Baumgarter filed for divorce on Monday.

In his response to the divorce filing, Costner referenced the couple’s prenup that demands Baumgartner vacate all three of his homes. The couple are seeking joint custody of their three children.
