Democratic Rep. Linda Sanchez of California demanded an FBI whistleblower answer for a tweet from a random user during a Thursday hearing.

“Is your account @MarcusA97050645?” Sanchez asked former FBI agent Marcus Allen during the hearing held by the House Judiciary Committee’s Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government. “That is absolutely not my account,” Allen told Sanchez.

Sanchez demanded that Allen answer for the tweet, despite Allen saying it was not from his account.

“Nancy Pelosi staged January 6. Retweet if you agree,” Sanchez said, quoting the tweet.

“I don’t know ma’am, that’s not my account at all,” Allen reiterated.

A search on Twitter reveals multiple accounts under the name Marcus Allen, including a safety for the Pittsburgh Steelers, a R&B singer, Pro Football Hall of Fame running back Marcus Allen, and an assistant principal.

Allen testified to the subcommittee that he was retaliated against for forwarding information to his superiors that “questioned the official narrative of the events of January 6.”

“Despite my history of unblemished service to the United States, the FBI suspended my security clearance, accusing me of actually being disloyal to my country,” Allen said in his opening statement. “This outrageous and insulting accusation is based on unsubstantiated accusations that I hold ‘conspiratorial views’ regarding the events of January 6, 2021 and that I allegedly sympathize with criminal conduct. I do not. I was not in Washington DC on January 6, played no part in the events of January 6, and I condemn all criminal activity that occurred.”
