A leaked copy of a handbook allows Fox News employees to use bathrooms that match their “gender identity,” rather than biological sex, according to a new report Monday.

The handbook, obtained by the Daily Signal, is dated January 2021 and outlines the news company’s policies in regard to gender identity and sexuality of employees. The handbook also offers guidance to employees on a “Workplace Transition Plan” and permits employees to dress in accordance to so-called “gender identity” rather than sex. “Employees who are transitioning their gender have the right to be open about their transition if they so choose, and to work in an environment free of harassment, discrimination, or retaliation, and without fear of consequences or transphobia for living openly,” the policy states.

“They want you to think it’s this place that supports traditionally conservative values,” a former producer for “Tucker Carlson Tonight,” told the Daily Signal. “But in reality, they’re pushing this nonsense behind the scenes.”

“Fox News devotes hours of programming to attacking ‘woke companies,’ but ironically Fox is as woke as the rest of them,” another anonymous Fox employee told the Daily Signal.

Fox News has come under increased criticism from conservative media for using LGBT-friendly language in their reporting. The outlet has used female pronouns to refer to men who identify as women, referred to irreversible sex changes as “gender affirming care,” and even aired a segment highlighting a transgender teenager in June 2022.

Fox News parted ways with Tucker Carlson, co-founder of the Daily Caller, in April, prompting many conservative viewers to cancel their subscriptions. Former Fox host Megyn Kelly has accused Irena Briganti, Fox’s senior executive vice president of corporate communications, of leaking videos of Carlson to liberal press.

Fox News did not respond to the Daily Caller’s request for comment.
