CNN’s CEO Chris Licht slammed former host Don Lemon for his outfit choice back in November, according to The Atlantic.
Lemon showed up to set wearing a white jacket with a fur collar and turtleneck. “What the fuck is he wearing?” Licht allegedly blurted out in front of staffers, according to The Atlantic. (RELATED: Don Lemon Speaks Out For First Time Since CNN Firing)
Shortly after a producer reportedly spoke into Lemon’s earpiece to inform the anchor that executives were not pleased with his outfit choice.
“Don, uhh, we’re not too crazy about the jacket in here,” the producer told Lemon, The Atlantic reported.

Licht then reportedly quipped, “Why are you guys so mean to Don?”
Lemon then removed the jacket during the break before hosting a segment on anti-Semitism and Kanye West, during which he screwed up the opening line, according to The Atlantic. Licht reportedly told Lemon to “read the fucking prompter.”
Licht didn’t hold back on his disapproval during Lemon’s monologue, saying “way too long – and it’s fucking morning time. This is morning television,” according to The Atlantic.
Lemon was fired from CNN in April following his remarks about presidential candidate Nikki Haley, in which he said she was past her prime. Lemon claimed he was blindsided by the firing.
