The Chairman of the House Committee on Small Business, Republican Rep. Roger Williams of Texas, accused the Biden administration Wednesday of impeding Congressional oversight.

The Daily Caller first obtained the three letters, which were sent to the Department of Energy (DOE), the Department of Labor (DOL) and the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). The Committee requested all communications relating to four separate DOE rules, six DOL/OSHA rules, and eight EPA rules. While all agencies have responded with letters of their own, they have each failed to produce any requested communications, which Williams says is impeding Congressional oversight.

“Since President Biden was inaugurated, Main Street has been facing a regulatory onslaught,” Williams told the Caller before sending the letter. “This Committee is working hard to investigate Executive overreach, but this Administration continues to impede Congressional oversight at every turn. I can assure our job creators, however, that we will not stop.” (RELATED: EXCLUSIVE: Rep. Roger Williams Slams Biden Small Business Administration For Alleged Violation Of Entrepreneur Privacy)

“We will continue to advocate for Main Street every day and ensure the Biden Administration is held accountable to the American taxpayer,” Williams added. (RELATED: EXCLUSIVE: House GOP Slams Biden Labor Regulation Allowing Unions Unprecedented Access to Small Entities)

Williams called for responses to the committee’s questions no later than March 27, 2024.
