Singer Akon showed up in a Vitality Kick stream Thursday, singing as an alleged pedophile was arrested by cops.
Akon is arguably best known for his song “Locked Up,” which lives rent free in every Millennial head in the western world. He put the tune to good use in a clip streamed Thursday alongside Vitality as they went about their day, following the cops as they arrested an alleged child predator.
Guys, I’ve written some weird paragraphs in my life … but that last one really takes the cake. Apparently catching alleged pedophiles in real life alongside famous rappers is a thing now? Anyway, here’s the Akon one:

“I’m steady tryna find the motive / Why I do what I do? /The freedom ain’t gettin’ no closer,” sings Akon. “No matter how far I go / My car is stolen / No registration / Cops patrollin’ / Now they done stop me and I get locked up,” Akon sings alongside a man playing the instrumental on a boombox.
Akon seemed to practice excellent self-control throughout the arrest, not harming or humiliating the accused as he’s arrested, though he and his companions appeared to be unwilling to let him leave the scene before authorities arrived.
