Country music star Riley Green is joining a long list of artists in Nashville, Tennessee’s, bar scene, reports revealed Thursday.
Green is apparently developing the Winners Bar & Grill into his own spot, “Riley Green’s Duck Blind,” a sign for which his team officially filed Wednesday with Metro, according to the Nashville Business Journal (NBJ). Winners announced in March that they were going under a “facelift,” but it looks more like a total and utter rebrand.
Green apparently played a surprise pop-up show at the neighboring bar, Losers, in early August, contributing even more to the hype around his potential establishment. Unlike artists like Morgan Wallen, Kid Rock and their peers, Green isn’t cementing himself on Broadway.

Green’s bar is on Lower Broadway, which we’re supposed to think is completely different to all the bars on regular Broadway. It is not. (RELATED: Morgan Wallen Announces Bar Opening Amid ‘Very Complicated’ Legal Case)
There is no information on a potential opening date, but Winners promised a “grand reveal” for this fall. But is now really the best time to get into the bar business?
Country singer Lainey Wilson took over the space once home to former country duo Florida Georgia Line on Broadway earlier in 2024. Wallen launched “This Bar,” while his close friend Eric Church opened Chief’s bar.
Sure, all of these names are the new royalty of country music. But they’re launching their businesses as the economy crashes. Nashville was prepping for a recession in 2023, and it’s not like things are getting any better. Let’s just hope these youngsters don’t bite off more than they can chew before this financial twister changes everything.
