Oh man, this dude is such a prick for this …
NASCAR superstar Austin Dillon took care of business Sunday to get not just a win, but a playoff berth as well. With that being said, however, he pulled things off in the most scandalous way possible. Dillon won the Cookout 400 at Richmond Raceway after wrecking Joey Logano and Denny Hamlin on the last lap.

Footage shows Dillon’s crew communicating to him on the radio to “wreck him” … in other words, there’s video evidence that he purposefully wrecked Logano and Hamlin.
I guess the precedent has been set that intentionally wrecking multiple drivers, including the forbidden right hook while your spotter yells “WRECK HIM” is now legal pic.twitter.com/fibMSAy2Rs

Austin Dillon’s team radio had said “I don’t care how you do it” before he hit Joey Logano and then “Wreck him! Wreck him!” before Denny Hamlin.
“Pop Pop is proud of you,” Richard Childress then said on the radio.

Team owner Richard Childress stated that he didn’t hear the spotter tell Dillon to “wreck him,” but after listening to the tape, he said the “spotter did a good job.”
Wait, what? (LMAO)
Richard Childress came over to me after the press conference and said he didn’t hear it in real time if it was said.
I played the recording for him.
He echoed the sentiment that ‘well, if he did, spotter did a good job because it won him the race.”

To make this situation even more comical and obvious that Dillon did what he did on purpose, Dillon claimed to the press that he didn’t hear the spotter telling him to “wreck him,” but he also went on to say that he saw nothing but red and was willing to do whatever it took to win the race.
Go figure.
Austin Dillon says he didn’t hear ‘wreck him’ or anything over the radio because he saw red and all he could see was red and doing whatever it took to get to the line first pic.twitter.com/PG1dPIxZ9W

Wow … if NASCAR doesn’t do anything about this, and that could very well be the case, I’m gonna absolutely die laughing. The blatancy is unreal.
