Left-wing protesters crashed a rally supporting Vice President Kamala Harris in New York on Wednesday, clashing with police .

Video shows a crowd of pro-Palestine demonstrators yelling at afterparty diners at a restaurant in Harlem, according to the New York Post. Chaos ensued when police escorted protesters away from the afterparty venue. Horns, whistles and smoke bombs went off.

“How dare you!” one man was heard screaming at afterparty diners in the footage as many raised their voices.

At least 14 people were taken into custody, police said. Police arrested one female agitator on the sidewalk after she swiped at them with a cardboard sign, the New York Post reported. Another protester reportedly ran from cops.

The incident reportedly caused damage to the restaurant property, costing thousands of dollars to its outdoor seating area, according to Fox 5 New York. An anti-Israel poster with the words. “No Votes For Bombala’s Genocide,” was briefly spotted in the restaurant’s window, the New York Post reported. “Free Gaza” was reportedly written on a police car in graffiti.

Top New York Democrats, including New York Gov. Kathy Hochul, New York City Mayor Eric Adams and New York Attorney General Letitia James, were among the most prominent speakers at the pro-Harris event, ABC 7 NY reported. Adams’ speech was reportedly disrupted by demonstrators prior to the afterparty.

Harris and her running mate, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, did not attend Wednesday’s rally.
