Houston Astros left fielder Mauricio Dubón made an incredible running catch Sunday night at Camden Yards in Baltimore that resulted in him being knocked out of the game, KHOU11 reported.
The Astros utility man made the sensational play in the seventh inning of a 6-3 Houston win over the Baltimore Orioles when Ramón Urías hit a deep two-out fly ball down the left field line, according to KHOU11. Video shows the 29-year-old Dubón breaking into an all-out sprint, covering over 130 feet and catching the drive just in front of the Camden Yards wall. Having made such an effort to cover the ground so quickly, Dubón was unable to stop, and he slammed hard into the wall, holding on to the ball for the out.

Footage shows Dubón rolling slowly on the warning track in great pain, laying his glove to the side and apparently holding his head and grasping at his left shoulder.
“Oh! How ‘bout Dubón racing forever and then crashes hard into the wall,” the ESPN commentator is heard saying. “What a play Mauricio Dubón.”
Astro trainers ran quickly out to check on Dubón, who was laid out down the left-field line, KHOU11 reported. After a few moments, he got up and walked off the field on his own power but was pulled from the game due to his collision with the wall.
Astros manager Joe Espada said that despite the hard crash into the wall, Dubón was going to be alright, according to KHOU11.
“The doctor came and saw him,” Espada said. “He’s fine, but he’s just going to be sore just because of how hard he ran into that wall.”
Dubón, a six-year MLB veteran who has mainly fulfilled utility roles for three major league teams, was hitting .252 with four home runs going into Sunday night’s game.
