Paramount+ released the trailer Thursday for “Landman,” the new series from “Yellowstone” creator Taylor Sheridan.

Billy Bob Thornton may have just found his greatest role yet as Tommy Norris in the upcoming modern-day western series, “Landman.” The trailer for the hugely anticipated series aired Thursday morning, blowing away all expectations of just how great this series could be.

Thornton is joined by a whole host of incredible talent. Jon Hamm is lined up to play Monty Miller, a “titan of the Texas oil industry who has a long personal and professional relationship with Tommy Norris.” He’s joined by Demi Moore, who plays Cami, Miller’s wife.

“1923” actress Michelle Randolph and “Heroes” legend Ali Larter also join the leading cast, as well as some other familiar faces from the Sheridan-Paramount universe. (RELATED: ‘Lioness’ Drops Release Date, First Photos. We Are Excited)

The show is described as “a modern-day tale of fortune-seeking in the world of oil rigs,” based on the podcast series “Boomtown.”

In true Sheridan-fashion, the script already appears to be a serious punch in the face. The aesthetic is gorgeous, chilling, packed full of emotion, action and all the stuff we love about Sheridan. There is no telling where this series will go. As Sheridan is as Texan as you can be, it’s hard to believe he’ll pick a side in this fight. But if he does, you know it’ll be America and people-first.

“Landman” drops Nov. 17 on Paramount+.
