Erick Erickson has been called “arguably the most powerful conservative in America today” (The Atlantic). He is the cofounder and former editor of RedState, the largest online community of conservative activists and the most widely read right-of-center blog on Capitol Hill, as well as the founder and editor of a new political blog, The Resurgent. He is also the author of Red State Uprising: How to Take Back America (Regnery 2010). <br /> <br /> He hosts Atlanta’s Evening News with Erick Erickson on AM 750 WSB and is a frequent guest host of The Rush Limbaugh Show.<br /> Mr. Erickson graduated with honors from Mercer University in Macon, Georgia, earned a juris doctor from Mercer’s Walter F. George School of Law, and is currently working on a master’s degree in biblical studies at the Reformed Theological Seminary. He also practiced law for several years, worked on numerous political campaigns, and was elected to the Macon City Council. Mr. Erickson lives in Macon with his wife and two children.
